This workshop examines the pathology and etiology of Scoliosis and how to use modified Pilates & Yoga exercises to help your client manage the condition.

During the session we will break down the basic principles of examining a Scoliosis, identifying the curves and looking at what movement strategies to use when devising an exercise programme. We will also examine the effects a Scoliosis has on breathing and diaphragm function.

The outcome of the workshop is to provide the teacher with basic steps to managing this condition, simplifying the approach of how to prescribe movement for Scoliotic clients.
